Starting out

There are a lot of channels out there, from traditional print media – newspapers and magazines, to all the different social media channels, podcasts, radio, email groups, slack channels, WattsApp communities … I could go on.  But where do you start? What is right for you?

The first questions should not be where to start, but what are you trying to achieve? Who are you talking to, how can you reach them, and what would you like to tell them? If you know that, then that will inform every marketing and communications decision you will make. Where is your audience, and can you access that in an honest and authentic way?

If you know what you want, then you can find a route there, using all the tools at your disposal.  Make a plan – try things out, see what works and what doesn’t. The first step is always the hardest!

Want to reach your audience, but don’t know where to start? Let’s talk.
